There is something about the festive holidays and dips that just go to together. Whether it’s chips, some bread, or spreading your dip across your favorite wrap, we have you covered with our avocado aioli recipe. 

Trying to find something that not only meets your needs a vegan, but also the standards and taste requirements of possible non-vegan family members can be hard. And dips are no exception. Although we have a few dips listed on our website, I wanted to create something with a festive feel. We have all the fresh tastes one comes to expect from a fine dip, topped off with a fun and vibrant green. 

Filled with some of the most popular vegan ingredients, this aioli is made to impress and satisfy even the fussiest of eaters. Let’s take a closer look at what it takes to make this simple recipe for your very own family feast.

To make this recipe, you will need 7 ingredients and 10 minutes. Yes, 10 minutes, 1 bowl, and an immersion blender is all you need to create blissful dips this year. 

It will come as no surprise to you that the two main ingredients of this recipe are avocado and garlic. Garlic is found in almost all aioli mayonnaise recipes, giving it that creamy but strong desired taste. However, because we are all vegans here, mayonnaise is no go area. We substitute this with avocados – the perfect creamy balance needed for all our dipping pleasures. From just these 2 ingredients, we are offered a good source of over 20 minerals and vitamins! How impressive is that? We top this off with a few other ingredients to entice our taste buds even further.

The avocado aioli is the perfect dip for any festive need because it’s:

Need to store left over dip? Maybe you want to make it a little in advance? No worries at all. Simply place your dip into an airtight container and pop it in the fridge for up to 48 hours. And remember, this dip is best served chilled or at room temperature.

Ingredients

For the aioli

  • 2 tbsps aquafaba
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar

For the vegetables

  • 1 avocado
  • 2 cloves garlic

Directions

  1. You need a bowl and an immersion blender, add all the ingredients for the aioli and blend until you get a thick white mixture.
  2. Scoop out the avocado and add the garlic to the same bowl and blend everything again.
  3. adjust taste before serving, enjoy.
